We got to know Seattle. What a terrific day we had with Cheryl. From the complementary water bottles to the comfortable SUV and Cheryl’s warm personality, we were off to a great start. Our tour took us to the many neighborhoods of Seattle. Cheryl explained the history of the city. We enjoyed the fishing docks and the fish ladder and a car tour of Pike Place. All in all, it was a wonderful experience. Thanks Cheryl! Dan M, California

Low Tide, Puget Sound Beach

Tide Pools and Saltwater Beach - Puget Sound

  • 4-5 Hrs

  • Great snacks, complimentary water bottle yours to keep

  • Private Tour, available daily - depends on tides

  • $249 pp plus tax - min 2 guests who book together

More common for low tides in winter.

Get out of the city and explore Puget Sound. Evolved from the Ice Age, Puget Sound is very rocky on top of the sand, and has plenty of driftwood, depending on which beach you visit.

Being tidal waters, the beaches are constantly changing between high tide and low tide. Puget Sound covers over 1000 square miles. Just sit and watch the waves, the boats, and the birds if you like.

You may see seaweed, a variety of snails, tiny crab, clams, sea urchin, anemones of different colors, tiny fish, sea stars and more on this excursion.

Even without tide pools exposed, the beaches are a wonderful place we go to relax and forget the business of life for a while. We’ll check the tides before you make your decision to go to the beach.
